It starts with a guy sitting in the car eating his hat...
I saw it last night and thought it was as funny as heck!
I like the "New Mini" Adverts, they're quick, memorable and funny!
What does anyone else think?

That's an old one (isn't it? to clarify the one where a young girl says she likes old balding men who drive minis) - I thought it was weak, extremely contrived and the worst mini ad of the bunch. But it's still better than a LOT of ads out there at the moment.
The 'new one' is where two old naked people drive along a country road and slap an old naked jogger on the ass with a fish.
I think the one which is 'Mini attempts to jump over the next advert' is VERY clever and original.

You may be right... I am tlaking about the girl / bald man advert.
I've not seen TV (ANY Tv) in a while... Last night I was round a mates and he had the TV on, so I saw a bit of it.
However, my next question is:
I've got an idea for a series of adverts. They are non-product specific, but I wanna shoot them and get a company to pay for the production of the adverts?
Or would I approach a company with storyboards, ect, and get them to put the money to shoot the advert?
Or does a company come up with the ideas then approach a production company to make the advert?

The company goes to an advertising agency with probably nothing more than a vague idea and the ad agency then come up with a few scripts. If the company is happy, a director is found and the production company the director is with make the advert. It can obviously be a bit more comlicated than that but that's basically what happens.
